Title:
Huawei E180 wireless broadband modem does not work after disconnect
and reconnect
Status in “network-manager” package in Ubuntu:
Invalid
Bug description:
Binary package hint: network-manager
In Ubuntu 9.04, my Huawei E180 3G modem worked flawlessly with 3
(Denmark) as a provider. Using the same provider settings in Ubuntu
9.10, the network-manager indicator shows the connection as active,
and e.g. Firefox will connect properly to the internet the first time.
However, Firefox and other programs using the internet will not
connect, if I disconnect the modem and reconnect it again. Rebooting
the system (but using the same settings in network-manager) allows for
one connection again, then the same problem.
