Title:
  NetworkManager does not connect eth0 -- atl1c

Status in “linux” package in Ubuntu:
  Incomplete

Bug description:
NetworkManager does not start eth0 when /etc/network/interfaces only
contains "lo auto", " iface lo inet loopback" and "eth0 auto".

The connection only comes available when /etc/network/interfaces contains
additionally "iface eth0 inet dhcp".
On other systems I have there is no problem.
