Title:
Running from live CD, Network Manager does not prompt for password for
  WPA network

Status in “network-manager” package in Ubuntu:
  Fix Released

Bug description:
With the latest Oneiric daily builds, I can select a password
protected wifi network, and nothing happens(except a notification
saying I'm disconnected), and I'm not prompted for a password. Doing
so does create the network I clicked as a new wireless network in
Network Manager. If I go into in Network Manager and manually enter
the password for that entry, it will connect as normal.

This is done testing as a live CD, I've not installed Oneiric on my
  laptop.
