Thanks for the bug report. However, I cannot reproduce this bug. I am
going to move this to gnome-control-center. Can you add the output of:
apt-cache policy gnome-control-center;
Maybe you have a PPA overriding the default package. A screenshot of the
Appearance dialog may also be helpful. Thanks.

Launcher icon size slider vanished from "appearance" tab - no way to
change icon size.

Bug description:
Ubuntu 12.04 - new release has lost the ability to change size of
icons on the launcher. There should be a slider (as described in the
online help) in the "appearance" window under "system settings" - but
it is no longer there! Please fix this error in the next Update.
