Hi! Thanks for your bug report. As you may be aware, the upcoming
release of Ubuntu 11.10 will feature a redesigned software-center. The
bug you describe is no longer relevant in recent development versions of
software-center as we don't display recommendations, so I'll close this
bug report. Please continue to report any bugs you may find. Thanks
again for your help!

Title:
Recommendations unclickable when installing software
Status in “software-center” package in Ubuntu:
Invalid
Bug description:
Binary package hint: software-center
Ubuntu Natty
software-center: 4.0.2
When installing software in the Ubuntu Software Center, I clicked back to the
Get Software page.
At the top it said "Welcome back! There are 6 new recommendations for
you."
Clicking on the underlined portion did nothing.
After the currently-installing software was installed, clicking on the
underlined portion correctly took me to the recommendations.
This is repeatable. Any time I install a new piece of software, if I
try clicking the link while it's installing, the link does nothing.
