Title:
drop-down menus for indicators misaligned when my resolution is 16:9
Status in Unity:
Invalid
Status in “unity” package in Ubuntu:
Invalid
Bug description:
The drop-down menus for items in the status area do not line up
properly with the entries. I'm referring the drop-down menus for
indicator-weather, messaging, networking, power, calendar, etc. What I
mean by misaligned is that if you hover over what should be the
networking menu, you get the drop-down menu for something else, like
audio. In addition, the menus are twitchy, meaning they'll switch from
one drop-down to another without moving the mouse. You'll see from the
screen-cap that hovering over the power menu brings up the calendar.
I have discovered that when I switch the resolution from 16:9 to
16:10, the indicators line up properly (but everything else looks
odd).
When debugging this, I noticed that I can bring up the menus for many
of the other indicators even in the "empty space" for about 2-3" to
the left of the weather indicator.
This occurs with or without the weather and system monitor indicators.
