Light dm hangs when logiing in using empty username with smartcard and
pam-pkcs11

Bug description:
GDM was able to auto-detect user name when logging in using pam-pkcs11. The
name was taken from certificates mapping.
In lightdm however if one tries to login with empty username the module
correctly asks for smart card PIN and then hangs, writing in log on failed
assertion.
