Just to confirm, this is not an intermittent problem for me. It's 100%
reproducible. I ran the ubuntu Software Center in a terminal in debug
mode .. ie  software-center --debug 2> /tmp/software-center-debug.log
and it was evident that after selection of the game and entering login
credentials the following error was displayed a couple of times ..

2012-08-03 11:49:16,558 - softwarecenter.ui.gtk3.views.purchaseview -
DEBUG - error processing json: ' OpenID transaction in progress

The full log is attached ... Please let me know if you want me to try
anything or need further information.

  Blank page when attempting to purchase software

Status in “software-center” package in Ubuntu:
  Confirmed

Bug description:
  When trying to purchase for-sale software via Software Center, I only
  see a blank page after providing my Ubuntu Single Sign On credentials.
  This affects all for-sale items in the catalogue, on two different
  computers, one running Ubuntu 12.04 i386 and the other running Ubuntu
  12.04 amd64. Non-commercial software is not affected.

  This bug is almost certainly related to #879455, which seems to have
  evolved into this (at least for me). I do not know what caused that to
  happen, nor exactly when it happened.
