Title:
  browser choppy scrolling

Status in “firefox” package in Ubuntu:
  Confirmed

Bug description:
Since switching to the new Cinnamon Desktop in Ununtu 12.04 LTS, I
noticed general scrolling is much more difficult in a browser. I
recently got a bigger monitor so I switched to Cinnamon since that's
the only way I could get the optimum resolution using dual monitors on
my ATI HD 5400 series. Maybe it's just the fact that I have an ATI
  card, on a MSI motherboard.

The resolution worked, but now the graphics are just choppy,
especially when scrolling in a browser or watching any video. Looks
  great when it's not moving.
