Title:
Thinkpad T60: Brightness is not at maximum, despite brightness
indicator
Status in “gnome-power-manager” package in Ubuntu:

Bug description:
Binary package hint: gnome-power-manager
Hello !
I installed Ubuntu 8.10 on my ThinkPad T60 Type: 1951-AG6.
Problem:
Brightness applet shows that I am at 100% brightness but I still one step
behind.
I can press Fn-Home to increase it one step more.
So I find myself pressing Fn-Home every time after returning from hibernation
or after
restart.
Brightness also changing to "one step behind" intermidiate - probably
related to gnome power management module.
