Title:
No value for "show icon" in energy settings

Status in “gnome-power-manager” package in Ubuntu:
  Expired

Bug description:
When installing intrepid (and older versions too), in the
"preferences->energy management" dialog, there's an option with two radio
buttons "nevery show" and "always show". But none of them is selected until I
first make a selection.
I don't know whether this has side-effects but it's worth noticing.
