Title: xchat reconnects on the wrong port number Status in GNOME frontend to the popular xchat IRC client: Confirmed Status in “xchat-gnome” package in Ubuntu: Won't Fix Bug description: Binary package hint: xchat-gnome I have feisty's xchat configured with a server (the canonical server) on a non-default port number and using ssl, and set to autoconnect at startup. When I start xchat it connects successfully. However, if the connection drops, it tries to reconnect on the default port number, not the configured port.
