Bug description:
I added a custom Emacsclient item in the launcher by copying the
emacs23.desktop file. It executes the following: "emacsclient -a "" -n
-c". This means, if there's an Emacs daemon running right now, create
a new window connected to that daemon. If there is NOT an Emacs
daemon, start one up first and then launch a new window.
The problem is that these Emacs windows do not show up in the launcher
nor alt-tab window switcher. There's no indicator in the launcher
(little white marks) to show a window is available. When I click on
the Emacs icon again, it creates a new window every time. If I
minimize Emacs, I can never get it back again. It's gone.
Attached below is my emacs23.desktop file. I've verified that it is
loading this file correctly.
