  check_gl_texture_size crashed with SIGSEGV in exit()

  I applied latest updates which include compiz packages in them, and restarted 
the virtual machine, and then logged in.
  The crash occurred as soon as I started Synaptic Package Manager, but I am 
not sure if it relates to the crash.
