Quantal Firefaox 15 will not respond

Bug description:
Quantal updated as of today 7/28/2012 and running Firefox 15. Runs
O.K. for a while, gets sluggish, and then will not respond to keyboard
or mouse or alt-F4. File drop down does not appear. Happened several
times today.
This is apport-cli using Opera since ubuntu-bug firefox tries to send
to firefox which of course is not responsive.
