Double-clicking a contact does not open minimized chat

Bug description:
When double-clicking a new contact in the contact list, Empathy opens
a chat window. When I minimize that window, and go to the contact list
again, double-click the same contact, absolutely nothing happens.
Expected behaviour: The contact's chat window opens.
Version: 3.4.2 (Ubuntu 12.04)
