Title:
NetworkManager asks for WPA2 password twice each time I connect

Status in Ubuntu Netbook Remix:
  Won't Fix
Status in “network-manager” package in Ubuntu:
  Expired

Bug description:
  I have a Dell Mini 9 - broadcom wireless card w/ STA driver. I am using a
linksys router WTR54G2.
I was doing fine until I updated ubuntu - download 90+ updates (approx
4/18/09). Since then my wireless takes a lot longer to connect, the
networkmanager applet always asks twice for the password/key which it I have
already placed - I just have to press enter, then again it will ask and then
connect. It is fine till I need to reconnect and the same process repeats. This
is very annoying since prior to the "update" connected really quickly. I have
cleared all the passwords/keys from password/encryption manager initially to
see if that helped now it sometimes just asks for the password once.
  I am using WPA2 encryption.
  Please help!
thanks. (also I am not great in retrieving data files since linux is new to
me so please explain how I am to attach any data files you may need).
