Title:
  Cannot type Korean characters.

Status in One Hundred Paper Cuts:
  New
Status in “gnome-control-center” package in Ubuntu:
  Confirmed

Bug description:
I wanted to write some flashcards in korean. I navigated to the
keyboard application and added the korean keyboard. The little
keyboard widget with "en" appeared on the upper right hand corner.

I switched the "en" to "ko" and tried typing. Not only did english
characters appear, but the widget also still showed a dot on the "en"
keyboard, even though I switched to the "ko" one.
