I just installed ubuntu 10.04 Lucid Lynx and now I'm configuring
Firefox. I told Firefox not to accept cookies, but some sites need
cookies to work correctly (like launchpad). So I have to add
exceptions for sites which are allowed to store cookies (Edit -->
Preferences --> Privacy --> Cookies, Exceptions). But when I close
Firefox and start it the next time, the exceptions are lost and I have
to define the exceptions for cookies again. This behavior is not very
comfortable and takes a lot of time.
My privacy settings for Firefox:
Firefox will: [Use custom settings for history]
[ ] Automatically start Firefox in private browsing session
[ ] Remember my browsing history for at least [90] days
[ ] Remember download history
[ ] Remember search and form history
[ ] Accept cookies from sites
[ ] Accept third-party cookies
