Wireless is disabled by default on Aspire One ZG8
Status in “network-manager” package in Ubuntu:
Expired
Bug description:
Binary package hint: network-manager
Wireless network is disabled by default on system start with my Aver Aspire
One ZG8.
When I start the computer, I always have to right-click on NM-applet and
enable wireless to get network connection.
This is something that I've experienced only on this Aspire One. On
all other laptops I have, the network is enabled when I start the
system.
This have been the case since I bought the laptop.
This bug is present in both Karmic and Lucid Beta 2. (Desktop and Netbook
remix)
The system right now:
Ubuntu Lucid Beta 2
Linux kernel 2.6.32.20.21 (32 bit)
Network manager 0.8-0ubuntu3
lspci and dmesg output is attached.
