I did a live-cd run from todays image and it appears to be fixed now. I
set it to incomplete and not close it yet because the quantal-alternate
install hanged in the middle and I can't verify that its fixed there
too.

Bug description:
USC is dying as it opens.
This is cause by xapian by the look of it.
