** Attachment added: "A screenshot of the work xneur does in LO with
libreoffice-kde package installed."
   https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1045379/+attachment/3290711/+files/xneur.png

** Description changed:

After the installation of libreoffice-kde the layout switching performed
by xneur becomes unusable (symbols of different layouts are messed up,
the part of a word typed in the wrong layout isn't replaces with the
right variant, etc.). At the same time the layout change works as it
should for the rest of the desktop.

  Ubuntu 12.04
  KDE 4.8.4
- LibreOffice 3.5.4.2
+ LibreOffice 3.5.4.2
  libreoffice-kde 3.5.4-ubuntu1.1
  xneur 0.15.0-1
+
+ The workaround is to remove the libreoffice-kde package.
