B1 c ...... c Taking a look at nautilus environment variables: $ cat /proc/`pgrep nautilus`/environ | tr '\000' '\n' | grep ^L LANGUAGE=en LOGNAME=jakob LANG=de_DE.utf8 so, LANG is set correctly.
