Title:
nautilus search on vfs locations would be nice
Status in Nautilus:
Fix Released
Status in “nautilus” package in Ubuntu:
Fix Released
Bug description:
If I browse a Samba share, which I accessed through Network Server
browser, and press Ctrl-F try to search a filename no relevante
results ever show up, the search is always performed in the local
filesystem.
If you want to reproduce the problem, open up a Samba share (i.e.
smb://<server>/share), create a file there with the name "aaaaaa",
press Ctrl-F and type "aaaaaa". Even though the file is right there in
front of you, the search will never be performed on the Samba share
you're browsing.
