Public bug reported:

I use my Mobile LG GT540 and Ubuntu 12.04 64 bit to connect in 3G mode. But it
works randomly.
Really often I can't find the voice "Enable Mobile Broadband" in the nm-applet
menu and unplug and replug my mobile doesn't work most of the times.
Hence, I need to restart Ubuntu (often I need to restart it several times
before the connection is available).

I've tried to launch Ubuntu and THEN plug the mobile, but that doesn't give me
the certainty to have a working connection.
Kill and relaunch nm-applet gives the same result.

It seems that sometimes the modem of my mobile is immediately well
recognised, sometimes not. That means a lot of time wasting...

Thanks!
