Title:
NetworkManager won't allow user to edit settings of Mobile Broadband
  connection

Status in “network-manager” package in Ubuntu:
  Expired

Bug description:
  Binary package hint: network-manager

I was trying to add opendns to my mobile broadband connection (from
three.co.uk). I right clicked on the Network Manager icon, chose "Edit
Connections...", clicked on the Mobile Broadband tab, then on my
connection, then "Edit". The settings briefly display and then gksudo
pops up asking for my password. I enter it and Network Manager
displays "Insufficient Privileges". About half the time, NM crashes at
  this point.
