  NM keeps disconnecting from Wi-Fi network -- Broadcom BCM4328, wl

Status in “network-manager” package in Ubuntu:
  Expired

Bug description:
  Binary package hint: network-manager

  since the last update to latest karmic beta, network-manager keeps 
disconnecting from my wireless network.
  after reloading the driver(modprobe -r wl;modrobe wl) i can connect again for 
a minute or so.

  disabling network-manager and connecting with iwconfig / dhclient, the 
connection is stable.
  with network-manager it only stays connect for a short time, after that 
disconnects and tries
  to connect without success.

  the wireless chip is
