gvfs unable to mount FTP (Nautilus cannot handle "ftp" locations.)
Status in “nautilus” package in Ubuntu:
Invalid
Bug description:
nautilus suddenly stopped to show my FTP sorces, bookmarks didn't work
now.
How to cause/reproduce such behavior - I don't know. I't heppens
suddenly
In addition filezilla, gvfc-mount do the same:
>gvfs-mount ftp://94.244.X.X // external ftp adrress
>Error mounting location: Could not connect to 94.244.X.X: Connection timed
out
ftp server works correctly because :
>ftp 192.168.3.1 // internal ftp
address
>Connected to 192.168.3.1.
>220 Welcome to TP-LINK FTP server
>Name (192.168.3.1:kexital):
What was done to resolve problem:
1) removed configs and reinstaled nautilus, gvfc.
2) changed proxy settings via GUI and console to following ( as were adviced
in relative bug-report here

Important notes:
1) this occurs for my user that is admin, but disable for guest user.
2) presents for only pointed packages. Browsers and telnet accses to FTP
server works
fine.
2) It presets for both ftp servers: internal in my network and outside my
network.
P.S.> I understand that you may think that this is my problem coused
by some noob actions or system full of randomly instaled packages here
and there. But I decided to post a bug because it happens suddenly
without my actions and it is weird, sudden, unpredictable behavior.
PleaseLook at it.
