Title:
Request: better manual for setting pair

Status in “gconf” package in Ubuntu:
  New

Bug description:
Manual is not very helpful when learning how to set pair with gconf.

  And Trial-and-error leads mysterious:
When setting a pair you must specify a primitive car-type and cdr-type

Documentation leads that these terms come form Lisp, but not further
  how to actually use them.

  suggestion:
Add one more Example to the manual
  gconftool-2 --set --type pair --car-type=string --cdr-type=string
/desktop/gnome/peripherals/keyboard/kbd/layouts '(fi,nodeadkeys)'

(even better would be example where pair has different types)
