Title:
flashplugin-installer prerm script fix
Status in “flashplugin-nonfree” package in Ubuntu:
Incomplete
Bug description:
Binary package hint: flashplugin-nonfree
flashplugin-installer has this on line 37 and 55 in its prerm script:
[ `update-alternatives --list "$p-flashplugin" | wc -l` = 0 ] && \
which does not work as intended because updates-alternatives outputs errors
to stderr.
obvious fix is to change lines 37 and 55 to:
[ `update-alternatives --list "$p-flashplugin" 2>&1| wc -l` = 0 ] && \
and flashplugin-installer is uninstallable again.
