Because of the consequence of this bug:

disable ATK / Assistive technology (here: http://www.gramps-
project.org/bugs/view.php?id=5771)
Since no-one has been able to tell me how to disable ATK / Assistive
technology (see here:
https://answers.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/unity/+question/199356)
so now I'm filing this as a bug.
