Passing over to design to get feedback on ideal interaction when both
want to appear.

Note that it is technically difficult (not impossible, but difficult) to
have both appear at the same time.

Title:
Caps lock warning blocks login button

Status in “unity-greeter” package in Ubuntu:
  Triaged

Bug description:
If I press the Caps Lock key while entering a password, a warning
appears to the right of the password field. This warning appears above
the little arrow that I can click to log in, making it impossible to
  log in without pressing Enter.

Turning off caps lock hides the warning, but the behaviour appears
somewhat erratic: sometimes the login button appears, sometimes not.
Hovering over the right side of the password field continues to reveal
a tooltip saying that caps lock is turned on, and clicking does
  nothing.
