Hi Scott, and thank you for your report. I have looked at the
screenshots that you've attached, and they do not actually match Ubuntu
Software Center in Quantal at all. Do you have any customizations that
might explain this? A standard install of Ubuntu Quantal 12.10 will not
exhibit the problems that you describe.

Bug description:
Software Center will show lists with rows truncated by the row height.
Then once you see the detail view, it doesn't show the content but
only the software title at the top. If you fiddle around with the
cursor, you can get it to show some content but you still have no way
of actually installing from the detail screen.
