Title:
Refresh in Unity menu bar are not triggered immediately
Status in “gtk+3.0” package in Ubuntu:
New
Status in “libreoffice” package in Ubuntu:
In Progress
Bug description:
Ubuntu Release: Ubuntu 12.10 Quantal Quetzal beta1
Package version: libreoffice-gtk
Package version: 1:3.6.1~rc2-1ubuntu3
Behavior: Refresh of the menu bar in Unity takes up to a second to
refresh.
There is a new feature in Unity/Gtk+ that implements aynchronous
triggers when opening/closing a menu so that we can rely on that to
refresh the menu items on demand and not continuously: For reference:
https://bugzilla.gnome.org/show_bug.cgi?id=682630
LO-Unity-menu bar needs to integrate with that.
