I fixed it once by reloading the totem-gstreamer but it has broke again and reloading totem-gstreamer isn't fixing it. I am running an Eee PC with Ubuntu 8.04 on it. I am trying to play a .wmv and its playing at like 1 frame per second. I have noticed that quite a few other users have reported this problem just to have the bug report closed because of lack of info. Please don't close my bug report, if you need more information just request it and I will supply. Thank you and I hope we are able to work towards making this BUG a thing of the past.
