Bug still exist with kernel 3.5.0-15 and after system update up to 9/21 (after Beta 2 freeze). I confirm what wrote Shanekiper, whic is that when I
sudo apt-get remove libreoffice-gtk then, I can use the Libreoffice in a "windows like" design. When I re- install it (actually libreoffice-gtk 1:3.6.1~rc2-1ubuntu5 ) then the bug re-appears. Along with it seems another bug: selecting text on screen (on Writer) to cut or copy is instable. The selection usually vanish before I have a chance to Ctrl-C. In the "windows like" environment the behaviour is normal. If I can help in any way .... -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Desktop Packages, which is subscribed to libreoffice in Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1049612 Title: Libre Offices global menu does not appear randomly when opening the application Status in LibreOffice Productivity Suite: New Status in “libreoffice” package in Ubuntu: Confirmed Bug description: Libre Offices's global menu does not appear randomly when opening the application. But in general, is seems to happen randomly. Please see video. Running latest quantal updates. Note I'm using linux 3.2.0-30-generic as I'm having problems with my optimus graphics card with the latest version. Let me know if I can help any further.
