Title:
Launcher - Space created on launcher when icon is moved close to trash

Status in Ayatana Design:
  Fix Committed
Status in Unity:
  Fix Released
Status in “unity” package in Ubuntu:
  Fix Released

Bug description:
Release ubuntu Quantal 12.10 (Radeon) with ppa:SIL2100

As the icon is dragged away from the launcher, the space is closed up
and replaced by a grey line which is expected behaviour.

Issue: When the icon is moved close to trash , a space gets created on
launcher sometimes above switcher icon and sometimes a space is
created at the original location on launcher from where the icon is
  being dragged out. See screenshot.

  ------------------------
  Desired solution:

  - Dragging a Launcher icon close to the Trash should *not* result in a
gap opening up in the Launcher. See screenshot
"IncorrectEmptySpace2012-07-25 14:32:09.png" which clearly shows this
  bug.
