Bug description:
The desktop hung. I was forced to CTL-ALT-F1 to get a virtual terminal, and
force a reboot with "sudo reboot". When the system restarted, I logged in, and
found no launcher down the left of the screen; only the desktop background and
a partially filled panel at the top of screen (File, Edit, View, Go, Bookmarks,
Help" on left (looks like remnants of Firefox menus?) and nothing to the right
of the panel.
Attempting ALT-F2 to start an application then produced this crash. Unity now
looking pretty hosed :-(
