Title:
Ubuntu One crashed while configuring
Status in “nautilus” package in Ubuntu:
New
Bug description:
What I did:
It was the first time I used Ubuntu One with Ubuntu 12.10. And the first time
it went wrong: I selected the Ubuntu One logo in the dash, and it was installed
itself. Then, I had to configure it. I entered the name and the passwort of my
existing account, clicked next, and then Ubuntu One asked me which folders of
Ubuntu One I wish to sync. But the were always "Getting information, please
wait…". Apport opened and asked me, if I wish to report a bug. His proposed
title was " nautilus crashed with SIGSEGV in g_list_foreach() " Now, looking
the other reports with this title, I think perhaps it was an error of ubuntu
one during configuring nautilus… Anyway Nautilus-Window was open at the moment,
but only in the background. (And the problem in the already reported bugs is
with two windows of nautilus at the same time)
The "Getting information, please wait…" didn't disappears, but I could click
"Next". That was what I did. I selected the folders on my Computer which I wish
to sync, and clicked "Finish". Now, no folder I wished to sync is synced with
Ubuntu One.
## Now I know that's because of the opened Nautilus window. I retried to
configure Ubuntu One without any opend Nautilus window and I had succes!
