quit should terminate process
Status in “rhythmbox” package in Ubuntu:

Bug description:
The quit option from the the quicklists doesn't terminate rhythmbox.
when rhythmbox is open, playing music, selecting Quit from the File menu
terminates the process and hereby stops the playback, too.
Quit should always mean quit = terminate the process and remove it from
memory.
Close is something else, and it is ok if Close does what Window > Close does,
wherever "Close" is afforded.
