  ConfigureNotify mismatch during unity --reset

Bug description:
  Unity stopped working for me about a month after I upgraded my Dell Precision 
T3500 to 11.10 (Unity2d works okay, though). In attempting to fix the issue, I 
did a unity --reset. I saw the following text and am filing a bug as the 
message requested:
  Initializing session options...done
