Launch Bar / desk bar does not show on mouse hover

Bug description:
when i use any application in full screen, the launch bar / desk bar
on the left side disapears, when i move the mouse near it, it used to
appear for selection in Ubuntu 11.04, but in 11.10 it is not
happenning.
I need to press windows key to make the launch bar / desk bar appear.
