Title:
nautilus crashed with SIGSEGV in g_type_check_instance_cast()
Status in “nautilus” package in Ubuntu:
New
Bug description:
I encountered this problem while using Ubuntu 12.10 Beta 1 (64-bit),
to which I had upgraded about a week or so ago from Ubuntu 12.04 LTS.
My nautilus version is 1:3.5.90.really.3.4.2-0ubuntu2. For the most
part, my Ubuntu 12.10 installation is pretty vanilla; the only non-
Ubuntu packages I have are Faenza icons, Ubuntu Tweak, and YannBuntu's
Boot Repair. I was using Ubuntu Tweak to change my icon theme from
Faenza-Ambiance to Faenza-Dark and I was suddenly informed of a crash
in nautilus. Nothing else appeared to go wrong; things continued
working smoothly, the icon themes changed fine, etc. The only
unexpected behavior was this crash message. I'll see if I can attach
some more helpful information in a moment, but for now I am including
what is auto-included by apport.
