1) Double-click HTML file -> launches FireFox 2) FireFox File|Print...|Print to File
So maybe the bug is in FireFox? Or maybe CUPS? I installed Chromium and performed the above two steps again. I got the same print dialog, but the correct result ... parentheses were printed. So it appears that the bug is in FireFox. So the question now ... is this the correct channel to log bugs in FireFox since it is the "Browser du Jour" for Ubuntu? Or is it done in another way? Thank you! :) -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Desktop Packages, which is subscribed to cups in Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1056957 Title: Printing webpage to pdf file loses parentheses Status in “cups” package in Ubuntu: Incomplete Bug description: When printing ... to a pdf file [feedback.pdf] ... an html file [feedback.html] containing parentheses within equations ... the parentheses are not printed.
