Public bug reported: This is a new regression as of a week or two. I cannot make sound go through my headset anymore.
Previously, the sound preferneces would list 2 entries for the USB headphones - Analogue Output and Digital Output, I believe. Both of them worked. Now, only Analogue Output is listed, and it does not work - selecting it and doing a sound test brings no results. In addition to that, if I select Analogue Output (for headphones), and reopen the sound menu, it switches to Analogue Output for built-in audio. In effect, it cannot remember the choice anymore either. So all in all, the headphones are useless now and are not working as of some recent updates, it seems.
