Still occurring with Beta 2 live-usb. I attempted to grab a screenshot but the windows to navigate screenshots did not draw either. Unity sidebar and panel eventually draw, but desktop pulls a series of screens from various apps (Thunderbird with emails/addresses legible, Firefox sites visited recently, desktop images for my wife and I, etc.)
