Title: nautilus crashed with SIGSEGV in g_strconcat() after time out on SMB login Status in “nautilus” package in Ubuntu: New Bug description: Clicked a network connection, nautilus asked for credentials, I forgot about it. Later I've seen nautilus, the login window (user/domain/password), two dialogs "Time out while connecting to SMB" (or similar), none of which reacted when I tried to close them (alt-f4, escape, "x"-button in the corner) Nautilus then turned grey (that "doesn't react" indication), and then bugbuddy showed up ProblemType: Crash DistroRelease: Ubuntu 12.10 Package: nautilus 1:3.5.90.really.3.4.2-0ubuntu2 ProcVersionSignature: Ubuntu 3.5.0-15.22-generic 3.5.4 Uname: Linux 3.5.0-15-generic x86_64 ApportVersion: 2.5.2-0ubuntu4 Architecture: amd64 Date: Thu Sep 27 14:29:40 2012 ExecutablePath: /usr/bin/nautilus GsettingsChanges: b'org.gnome.nautilus.window-state' b'geometry' b"'800x550+624+253'" InstallationMedia: Ubuntu 12.10 "Quantal Quetzal" - Alpha amd64 (20120905.2) ProcCmdline: nautilus -n ProcEnviron: PATH=(custom, no user) LANG=de_DE.UTF-8 SHELL=/bin/bash SegvAnalysis: Segfault happened at: 0x7fae21d7ea91: pcmpeqb (%rax),%xmm0 PC (0x7fae21d7ea91) ok source "(%rax)" (0x00000030) not located in a known VMA region (needed readable region)! destination "%xmm0" ok SegvReason: reading NULL VMA Signal: 11 SourcePackage: nautilus StacktraceTop: ??
