This problem was detected by Ubuntu. However, I've been having tons of problems with graphics, especially Unity Dash, for a couple of months now. Bringing up Unity Dash in 12.04 would scramble all the icons in Unity Panel and the dash as well. Playing videos often causes crashes after seeming to struggle for a while to play the video. I decided to update to Ubuntu 12.10 alpha3 for better graphics, but Unity Dash is unusable - flashing all the time and still scrambling all the icons. I used Ubuntu Tweak to set the Dash to the smaller desktop size (I'm actually using a desktop computer but viewing it on my widescreen TV). Using the smaller Dash stops the flickering most of the time, and the newer graphics don't seem to have anymore trouble playing videos, but there are still random crashes. This particular "crash" being reported here didn't appear to cause any issues though. The crashes I'm talking about aren't reportable because the computer freezes, not even responding to ctrl-alt-f1 or ctrl-alt- backspace, so that I have to use hardware to reboot.
