  Thunderdird use 104% Cpu and hang after delete of hundred of message
  on imap

Bug description:
  I jave a mailbox on a IMAP server (dovecot). I receive a lot of mail in this 
account. When I try to delete them (e.g. 300 messages) thunderbird becomes very 
slow and after a while it stops responding and i have to close thunderbird and 
launch again. 
  with "top" I can see thunderbird uses 104% of cpus (i have a quad core)

  This starts happening upgrading from thuderbird 14 to 15
