Title:
Week 36 - Nvidia not detecting 2nd display unit

Status in “nvidia-graphics-drivers” package in Ubuntu:
  New

Bug description:
Ubuntu 12.04 precise with ppa:unity-team/sru using the Nvidia-current
  driver

  Issue: Not detecting 2nd monitor.

Additional information: - Power supply is ok and I have verified that
monitor, connection wire and the splitter are all working so it is not
a hardware issue. I tried System settings -> Detect displays and
Nvidia-settings -> display configuration -> Detect Displays, did not
  solve the issue.

I will update this bug if I find more info after trying out different
  settings.
